This Raya, we have chosen Wau, the Malaysian traditional kite (also known as one of Malaysia’s national symbols) to be the theme inspiration on the proposed gift ideas.

There are many types of wau, each with its own specialty. Wau bulan “moon kite” is the oldest known and largest kite in Malaysia. It got its name from the crescent moon-like shape of its lower section. The crescent of the new moon signifies the beginning and end of fasting during Ramadan.

For the overall look and feel, we are proposing Islamic motifs/patterns and simplified graphics of the Wau with complementary colours that express modernity, harmony and lightens the mood during Hari Raya.
